The current X6 has been on sale for a few years now, so we expect BMW to update it for 2023. And like nearly every BMW these days, there are a few hopped-up M performance models in the lineup too. That means you can expect a comfortable and well-appointed cabin, lots of available in-car tech, and a full suite of driver aids. The two cars are essentially identical, save for things like cargo space and rear seat headroom. Based on the X5, BMW essentially took that model and carved out part of the rear to give the X6 its coupe-like profile. 21/26 mpg is also a plus (my older 2016 GLE only gives me 18/23). Without folding the second row seats, we were able to fit 2 large luggage and 3 carry-on rollies for a long weekend getaway. The trunk cargo space is decent for my family. Thanks to its design, it catches a lot of attention from people on the road and on the sidewalks (let's face it, there's not too many of these coupe-design SUVs/SAVs out there - that including similar designed cars from MB, Porsche, Audi and Jaguar). The 335 hp makes my drive from home to … work (and vice versa) exciting (often times I find myself wanting to drive longer than the usual route! LoL).
